About Us

Younghee Park was born in Korea and came to the US after finishing junior high school. Upon finishing high school in San Francisco area, she went on to Santa Clara University and got her Bachelor degree in Biology. Then, she got her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. Younghee obtained her national and state licenses in acupuncture after finishing her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from South Baylo Univerisity. She is expected to get her Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree in May, 2007 from the same school. Younghee joined South Baylo University as a faculty member in 2005 and taught many courses including introduction to biology, western medical terminology, and nutrition. She has also contributed considerably to graduate competency examination process at South Baylo. She is currently working as a clinical supervisor and a faculty member at South Baylo. Prior to joining South Baylo University, she worked as a chiropractor at a private firm in San Jose area. Younghee spends her spare time mentoring and tutoring high school and college students in Southern California area.

Sung Kim was born in Korea and came to the US when he was junior in high school. After high school, he went on to the University of Texas at Austin for his Bachelor degree. Then, Sung went to the University of Texas at Dallas to pursuit his graduate degree in Chemistry. There, he found a new interest in Computer Science and switched to Computer Science after getting his M.S. in Chemistry. Sung received M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. While pursuing his graduate degrees in Computer Science, Sung worked for a couple of telecommunications companies for over 6 years - Alcatel during his M.S. years and Nortel Networks during his Ph.D. years. Upon receiving his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, he joined North Dakota State University as an assistant professor. Sung teaches both the undergraduate and graduate students at NDSU. His research interest lies on software engineering and reliability, distributed systems, web services, security, etc.
